Save the date: ECON Málaga 2027

The European Cooperation Network will meet in Málaga, Spain, on 14–15 December 2027. The gathering will be organised in collaboration with MAD for Europe and Horizon Málaga S.L.

ECON brings together organisations that see European cooperation as a way to exchange knowledge, build partnerships and respond to shared challenges. Málaga 2027 will carry that work forward by creating time and space for members and new collaborators to meet, compare perspectives and develop ideas together.

The conversations Europe needs cannot take place within one sector alone. Questions concerning artificial intelligence, education, equality, culture and social transformation call for contributions from research, civil society, public institutions and enterprise. ECON’s strength lies in connecting these perspectives and helping organisations identify where cooperation can produce useful work.

Our collaboration with MAD for Europe and Horizon Málaga brings complementary experience to the 2027 gathering. MAD for Europe contributes its work in European education and international cooperation. Horizon Málaga contributes its focus on gender equality, responsible AI and research-informed social innovation. Together, we will shape an event that reflects the breadth of the network while making room for new questions and partnerships.

For participants, ECON Málaga 2027 will be an opportunity to reconnect with existing partners, meet organisations working in related fields and explore future collaboration. The programme is being developed; speakers, sessions, venue and participation arrangements will be announced in due course.
