As Artificial Intelligence becomes increasingly integrated into project ecosystems and cooperation environments, organisations across Europe face a common challenge: ensuring that innovation strengthens — rather than weakens — professional integrity, human accountability, and collaborative trust.
Artificial Intelligence can enhance creativity, accessibility, and efficiency. At the same time, the absence of clear ethical practices may generate risks related to transparency, authorship, bias, and responsibility.
This European Declaration on Ethical AI in Project Ecosystems and Cooperation Environments responds to this evolving reality by proposing a shared, voluntary framework to guide organisations towards responsible, human-centred, and transparent use of AI across European cooperation practices.

Organisations commit to transparency regarding AI-supported processes when relevant to trust, collaboration, and professional integrity.
AI must be used in ways that prevent bias, support diversity, and promote inclusive participation across cooperation environments.
AI-supported practices must respect data protection, confidentiality, and responsible information management.
All AI-assisted outputs should be critically reviewed, validated, and approved by qualified professionals.
Organisations are encouraged to document AI-supported workflows to enable reflection, learning, and accountability.
